At ulink-media, we respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so at any time by following the instructions below.
Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, we will not be able to recover it. Please make sure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.
How to Request Data Deletion
1Delete Your Facebook Integration (Recommended)
If you originally signed up using Facebook Login, we recommend first revoking our app's access to your Facebook account:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find "ulink-media" in the list of connected apps
- Click "Remove" and confirm the action
This will prevent Facebook from continuing to share information with us.
2Submit a Deletion Request
Send an email to our privacy team with the following information:
- Email Address: the address you used to contact us, or the one associated with your account
- Account Identifier: your Facebook user ID or the display name you used in our app
- Request Statement: clearly state "I request the deletion of all my personal data held by ulink-media"

3Verification & Processing
After receiving your request:
- We will verify your identity within 3 business days to ensure we are deleting the correct account
- Once verified, we will delete all personal data associated with your account within 15 business days
- We will send you a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your account profile information (name, profile picture, user ID)
- All usage data and app interaction history
- Any cached or locally synced data related to your account
- Any backup copies of the above data
What Data May Be Retained
In certain limited circumstances, we may retain some data even after your request, including:
- Data we are legally required to retain for tax, accounting, or compliance purposes
- A minimal record to prevent future fraud or abuse (e.g., a hashed identifier to block re-registration)
- Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you as an individual
Any retained data will be kept only for as long as legally required and will not be used for any other purpose.
Facebook Platform Data Deletion
ulink-media is committed to complying with Facebook's Platform Terms regarding data deletion. If you have used Facebook Login to sign in, your deletion request also covers any data we received through Facebook's APIs.
